Marie-Louise Lagerstedt Eidrup joins FibRe Management Team
As many of you already know, Philip Gillgard will be leaving his role as Innovation Manager at FibRe. While we are sorry to see him go, we are excited about his next chapter as he takes on a position as Business Developer at GU Ventures, where he will focus on developing new companies within the Deep Tech sector.
At the same time, we are pleased to welcome Marie-Louise Lagerstedt Eidrup as our new Innovation Manager. We look forward to the experience, knowledge, and fresh perspectives she will bring to the team.
Can you tell us a little about yourself?
I work as a Project Manager within the Materials and chemistry group at Chalmers Industriteknik. I enjoy working with new ideas contributing to innovative and sustainable solutions for companies. FibRe is a very good example of such work, and I’m very pleased to be given the opportunity to join the centre. I would also like to take the opportunity to thank Philip for his efforts introducing me to FibRe.
What about your educational background?
I have worked at Chalmers Industriteknik for seven years now, mainly focusing on sustainable and circular material solutions for companies. Prior to Chalmers Industriteknik I’ve worked in total for 30 years within the industry in different positions and with different challenges. After my MSc from the Chemistry department at Chalmers university of Technology, I was a PhD student in polymer chemistry where I obtained a licentiate degree.
What will you be contributing with to FibRe?
My experience collaborating with both industry and academia contributes to my overarching understanding of their different interests and motivations. This, combined with my strong interest in finding solutions that contribute to a common, sustainable solution, is I believe a good asset for FibRe.
